Hi Five Movers Inc – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Hi Five Movers Inc (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided to any individual or entity hiring our services (“Customer”, “you”, or “your”).
1. Services Provided
Hi Five Movers Inc offers:
Local and long-distance residential & commercial moving
Packing and unpacking services
Loading and unloading
Basic furniture assembly and disassembly
2. Estimates and Quotes
All quotes are non-binding until confirmed in writing.
Final pricing may vary based on time, distance, labor, materials, or unforeseen events.
Hourly rates begin when the crew arrives and end when the move is completed.
3. Booking & Cancellations
A deposit may be required to confirm your booking.
Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled move may result in a cancellation fee.
Rescheduling is based on availability and must be confirmed in advance.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Ensure all items are properly packed and ready for transport.
Inform us of any fragile, high-value, or hazardous items.
Ensure clear access to all pickup and delivery locations.
Supervise loading and unloading if desired.
Provide an accurate inventory list if a flat rate quote was given.
5. Liability and Insurance
We are not liable for damage to items that are improperly packed by the customer.
Our standard liability coverage is $0.60 per pound per item.
Optional full-value protection is available at an additional cost.
We are not responsible for delays or damages caused by weather, natural disasters, or traffic.
6. Damaged or Missing Items
Claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the move.
Customers must request and complete a Claim Form for evaluation.
Photos and receipts may be requested to process the claim.
7. Limitations on Transport
We do not transport:
Flammable or hazardous materials
Perishable goods
Pets or live animals
Illegal substances
Jewelry, cash, or collectibles unless declared and insured separately
8. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept major credit/debit cards, Zelle, and cash.
Late payments may incur fees or be subject to collection procedures.
9. Delays & Rescheduling
We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, building restrictions, or customer inaccessibility.
We will notify customers of any significant schedule changes as soon as possible.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New York. Any legal disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts within New York City jurisdiction.
11. Changes to Terms
Hi Five Movers Inc reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. All changes will be posted on our official website.
